How does one try explain the beginnings of Chelsey Loren Belts? It would make sense to talk about the first

"Chelsey Loren" Belt ever created, which was made as a personal birthday gift for my mother, Shawne. However, my love for antique

jewelry and vintage fashions began far before the conception of my first belt design. With both my Nanna and Aunt involved in the business

of antiques and  costume jewelry, I was inspired to continue their search for beauty and art in a new and different way.

Raised from a young age with an appreciation for history and  the gorgeous jewels that went along with it ,

I have always adored anything antique. The ornate nature of jewelry and fashion of the past is

something that cannot be replicated. 

By creating Chelsey Loren Belts, I hope to bring back a little flavor of history into each buckle, juxtaposing modern fashion

and style with a vintage focus on detail and beauty. Each belt buckle is vintage itself, ornately adorned with fragments of antique

jewelry from decades past. One buckle could have a Victorian cameo from the late 1800s splashed with rhinestones from the 50s...

The possibilities are endless.

My favorite pieces to use on belts are those that tell a story. Sorority pendants from 50s charm bracelets, Sweetheart

pins from the WWII era, Religious relics from a myriad of faiths and cultures, Engraved lockets from the 1930s....anything beautiful

and unique. Instead of collecting dust in an antique dealer's showcase, fragments of jewelry that once were significant to someone

can take on a new life on a Chelsey Loren Belt.

Starting out as a birthday gift, slowly gaining popularity through word of mouth and finally spreading like wildfire,

Chelsey Loren Belts offer something that belts sold today cannot convey - Style through Individuality.
